Update on Saturday, February 11 Olympic Plaza afternoon programming

In light of the ongoing safety concerns surrounding the protests that are planned at Olympic Plaza on Saturday afternoon, we have made adjustments to our programming at Olympic Plaza. 

YYC Princess – their 12 pm and 2 pm performances have been moved to the Calgary Central Library. Guests are encouraged to park at the East Village lots. 

A DJ set by Matthew Swann of Astral Swans – Originally scheduled for 1 pm and 3 pm, these sets have now been postponed to a later date.

DJ Reno – Originally scheduled at 4:30 pm, this event has now been postponed to a later date.

Drag on Ice – Originally scheduled at 4 pm, this event has now been postponed to a later date.

Block Heater’s presentation will continue as scheduled. Join us to watch Zenon +, Deicha & The VuDudes and Sinzere & The Tribe at Olympic Plaza starting at 6 pm. 

Chinook Blast is a family-friendly event, and we always put the safety of our performers, guests and staff first. We understand that this may cause inconvenience for those who have already made plans to attend, and we apologize for any disruption this may cause.
