In Inglewood, there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing! Get on your funkiest winter apparel for “Snow Eater”, two OUTDOORS live music/DJ/winter market/digital art events at the former Farmer Jones Carz site, 9th Ave and 9th Street SE, in the heart of Calgary’s coolest neighborhood.
What to wear: Rock the 80’s snow suits and moon-style boots! Dig out some Calgary 1988 Winter Olympics gear!
2pm – 8 pm, February 3, 2024, Snow Eater Part 1.
2pm – 8 pm, February 10th, 2024, Snow Eater Part 2.
Expect: DJs, live music, dancing, a digital art projection featuring AZMA, Calgary’s top digital mapping artists, a licensed bar with hot drinks for cold weather, warming stations, a consignment market with great deals on winter apparel, funky moon boot contest, a dog sweater contest, prizes, and much more.
Not to missed: at 6pm when the DJ starts, the wall of the Apothecary building will light up with the art projection! That’s when you GET YOUR SHUFFLE ON and get ready for the The Banger!
