Mark your calendars! The Calgary Game Developers Association is excited to announce Global Game Jam; join us in person at the Platform Innovation Centre to build a video game over the weekend! 

The jam will start at 5 PM on January 26th and close at 5 PM on January 28th when we’ll start the project showcase and celebrate all the incredible games created! Join designers, programmers, artists, modellers, animators, musicians and fellow creatives as we come together and make fun new games over 48 hours! 

Whether you’ve made 100 games or never made a game before, this event is open to all skill and experience levels. Mentors will be available to help break down the barriers of game development and ensure everyone has a rewarding experience. 

Tickets are $10 (includes 24-hour access and food and beverages (coffee & water). Wifi and electricity are provided. Please note: participants must be 16 years of age or older and are expected to bring their own game development tools (computers and laptops).
