Indigenous hip hop artist Toosick will be performing his new collection of music that combines new age R&B stylings with traditional Indigenous elements such as hand drums, traditional language and some exciting collaboration with traditional powwow singers second act – A powwow dance performance with varying styles; it will feature the Tootoosis Crew youth
dancers who will perform girls traditional, girls fancy shawl & boys grass dance. Additionally it will feature Tony Tootoosis a mens Grass Dancer and Cherokee Eagletail a local Jingle Dress dancer from Tsuut’ina Nation. They will be accompanied by a live drum performance from Sage Scabbyrobe from the renowned powwow drum group Blackstone Singers.
