Ethnik Festival of Arts and Culture 2025: Alberta’s Premier All-Inclusive Black History Month Celebration

The pre-festival activation kicks off on Friday, February 21, at Carya Village Commons (610 8 Ave SE, Calgary, AB T2G0M1) with the Calgary Food War—The Battle of the Couples, an exhilarating culinary showdown in which couples face off in a vibrant cooking competition. Starting at 11:00 AM, expect laughter, teamwork, and mouthwatering creations as these duos bring their culinary A-game. Tickets for Day 1 are $25.
Celebrate the grand Main Festival Celebration on Saturday, February 22, at the Genesis Centre (7555 Falconridge Blvd NE #10, Calgary, AB T3J0C9). Walk the red carpet at 11:30 AM and dive into the festival starting at 12:00 PM. The festival features art, music, dance, and cultural storytelling at its finest, plus local vendors’ showcases.
