Bringing energy back to Olympic Plaza are Dj Spice and Aaron the DJ!

DJ “Michelle” Spice started her DJ career as a host for Name That Tune around the pubs in Calgary. Then during university, Michelle worked as a Wedding and Event DJ for 7 years! It was such a fun university job! Michelle joined the team at Ranchman’s Cookhouse & Dancehall as a Stampede DJ, entertaining the crowds during the Calgary Stampede for 11 years, and spent her last year as a Stampede DJ, spinning the tunes at Nashville North during the Calgary Stampede. While Michelle is semi-retired from DJing, she often lends her skills to DJ and emcee on the CP Rail train float during the Stampede Parade, and also joins Aaron the DJ at various events around Calgary.

Aaron the DJ has been entertaining as a DJ for many years. He’s been a DJ and Entertainer at the multiple CCMA award-winning country club: Ranchman’s Cookhouse and Dancehall, and DJ’d at the Calgary Stampede, Olympic Plaza paying tribute to the ’88 Olympics, Atlantic City’s DJ-EXPO, festivals and more! Aaron is also proud to have been involved in numerous charity events over the years, including the Veteran’s Food Bank, Alberta Children’s Hospital, Fresh Start Recovery Centre and more.
