Bio

A nomad of the art world, journeying where skin becomes a canvas and stories unfold in ink, David Park is a tattoo artist 5 years into his career. He expresses his art in various styles and techniques, creating an impressionable work of art that reflects versatility and traditions. Born with an innate passion for the arts, he began his art journey at a young age, drawing portraits of his classmates in school. A long hiatus of art was set in place till just five years ago because his parents thought that a life of art would be a tough journey with no promises of a successful career. 

David has made plenty of career changes throughout his twenties from retail, sales, service industry, military, provincial and municipal government work and he’s learned that his career in the arts is his “now”, and realized that his happiness in doing what he loves gives him motivation and inspiration.

As a Korean immigrant to this country, he wanted to take this pop-up gallery opportunity to showcase some of the stories and tales from his roots and his ancestors through his art.
