Celebrate the 2024 Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in Calgary!

From February 27 to March 2, 2024, athletes from all 12 Provincial/Territorial Special Olympics Chapters across Canada will unite to showcase their skills, pursue personal triumphs, and potentially secure a coveted spot on Special Olympics Team Canada.

This event, promoting accessibility and inclusion while contributing to the local economy, promises to be a highlight for all involved. Join the excitement and witness the extraordinary achievements of these inspiring athletes!

On March 2 from from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m, head to Olympic Plaza for Safeway’s Champions Celebration—a free and open-to-the-public event. Bring the whole family for a pancake breakfast, fun prize giveaways, on-ice performances, and to cheer on the medalists as they stand on the podium for an awards presentation.
