The ARRAY – a B!G ART work in collaboration with AZMA and Fifth Third Bank

The ARRAY in its simplest explanation is an homage to solar power. Key components emulate the sun(source element), solar panels(capture element), a power grid(the distribution element) and a battery(the storage element). The sun’s beams/rays strike the panels, activating animations that flow into the power grid and eventually end at the battery. Users interact with the installation by becoming the sun’s energy, furthering exploring our journey toward a sustainable future instigate by each of us.

This installation boasts one of our biggest footprints, covering over 4,000 square feet and delivering an interactive experience with over 650,000 pixels spread across 16 interactive panels, each standing over 5’ tall.
